Wild patterns of the dahlia. How she twists and turns, all to come back to center. She exists without permission, and this fine art photograph of her is a testament to that unyielding strength and presence. This macro fine art print of a lavender dahlia is part of a numbered edition of 175 in each size. Available unframed in a range of sizes: 8x10 inches, 16 x 20 inches, and 18 x 24 inches, she can be customized to fit whatever space you are dreaming of her essence being in. The two larger floral art prints come with a Certificate of Authenticity and are numbered, dated, and embossed with an artist seal, while all sizes are printed on Giclée museum quality paper for the finest art possible. Sweet, magnificent dahlias, our reminder to show up as our whole selves, nothing less. May we always know this internal presence of being.

The wild doesn’t ask permission to exist. It does not seek validation from mortal hearts. It does not waver in its desire to grow, expand, or become the most radiant version of itself. The wild does not ask permission to begin or end, to come and go, to shift and change into whatever it chooses. Storms do not ask if they can come; they wash over the world, drenching us in their rain, mesmerizing us with their lightning bolts. The sun does not ask permission to rise, nor does the moon wonder if her light is too bright for the midnight sky. The wild knows the potency of its presence even in its most vulnerable moments. If flowers do not ask to bloom, why do so many of us seek consent from others to share the radiance of our souls? Why do we dim our light, our voice for the comfort of a few? Why do we seek validation from partners and friends instead of seeking validation from ourselves? The more time I spend amongst the flowers, interpreting their language through the lens of fine art photography, the more I see the lessons the wild provides. The most potent being, we exist. We radiate. We blossom. And no part of us requires permission to shine as bright as the stars our bones are made of. I encourage you to keep this reminder close; just one of the incredible lessons of flowers.
