  A seed more petite than a wisp of dust landed on the earth below. The wind slowly covered them, wrapping her up in autumn's warm embrace. A time for seeping, a time for becoming. As they learned the gift of rest, they dreamed of all the lives before, the ones who loved them. The constant paths not taken, the courses avoided from fear of the unknown. In the darkness of winter, with autumn's coat wrapped around them, they wondered if this was what the end felt like. Time ticked on like it always does. The one constant in all life is the way it continues. Spring came with its melted frost and balmy dewdrop mornings. The verdant green captivated and left one feeling like a storybook was being painted right in front of their very eyes. Our little wisp of a seed was becoming a sprout out of the ground. They felt sunshine and realized, winter was never the end but the roots of beginning. They watched around them as others bloomed in every shade and hue. Tall and short, petals of gossamer lace and stems of thorns. They wondered what they should be, and then as they tilted their head towards that radiant warmth of the sun. Surrendering to what they were.
