  There isn’t a place in this world that doesn’t sooner or later drown in the inky indigo of darkness. By the light of the sun and moon, we rise and rest, the shadows offering their own solace from the blaring light of day. There is a dark that can feel unsettling, it mimics the feeling of unknowing. We are forced to relinquish control, to fall. In both the light and the darkness there is always an invitation to awaken. Both are a gentle request to choose happiness, a happiness that is a kind of holiness. Palpable and enduring.
