Planting Life

One tree planted with every print collected

This botanical fine art print captures a radiant sunshine yellow tulip in exquisite macro detail, part of a limited numbered edition of 25 per size. Available in three sizes: 8 x 10 inches, 16 x 20 inches, and 18 x 24 inches. Each print includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity, numbered, dated, and embossed with an artist seal.

This yellow tulip photograph felt like a visual embodiment of the relationships that grow old with us. As I studied the adjoining petals, I began to consider the connections in my own being, those of value and those less so. Like most flowers, the resplendent tulip blooms regardless of what's happening around her. With just the right amount of space, moisture, air, and light, she becomes the very best version of herself. While capturing this stem in all her splendid glory, I thought of the people in my own life who have encouraged me to love and be loved in return. Such friendships are everything we need to help us bloom.

Printed on giclée museum quality paper and delivered unframed, this botanical fine art print captures the radiant beauty of friendship in every detail. A daily reminder of the nurturing relationships that allow us to flourish, this yellow tulip photograph celebrates the connections that bloom alongside us through life.
Illuminating light streamed through the cracks of the curtains. Flickers touching all that gathered in its wake gently, reciprocating an eternal love. Sunshine has a way of being seen without asking permission to shine. Rising with the dawn and falling into slumber when she desires to rest. The ocean never asks her to stay longer or ignores her presence—a relationship based on symbiosis and appreciation. Tulips muslin petals are reminiscent of the gentle threads that weave friendships together. The collapsing into one another, the fragility of their being. The way all flowers bloom, without worrying about the perception of those around them.

Through witnessing these blooms, I began to delve inside my inner being. What relationships in my own life were propelling me forward, and what ones were holding me back from my full potential? In what ways was I participating in pleasing more than loving myself. Letting go is not easy for my soul, but with time, I am learning that it is imperative for the growth I so crave. I love with my whole heart, and as I created this photograph, I wanted to capture the surrender into that love. Love that I know I no longer need to earn. Love that is intrinsic and true. Love that leans into us just as we lean into it. A love that allows all in its aura to bathe in its warmth. We don’t need an endless source of light, just a couple of beams that stay with us as we move through this little thing called life.

You’re always welcome to reach out and share a bit about what you’re drawn to.

Each artwork is printed on archival fine art paper, chosen for its depth, texture, and longevity.

To preserve the integrity of the print, handle with clean hands or with the 100% cotton gloves included in your parcel. Frame behind museum glass or acrylic.

Avoid direct sunlight and areas of high humidity so the piece may be enjoyed for years to come.
